Dr. Colburn and Dr. Porter continued their practices while the Regional Medical Associates building in Draffenville was under construction. Dr. Colburn kept the Calvert City Clinic open and practiced at Draffenville on a part-time basis until July 1998, when he moved his practice to Draffenville and closed the Calvert City Clinic.

In July 2005, Edwin Perez, M.D. joined the staff at Regional Medical Associates. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine, Dr. Perez completed his family practice residency at the University of Kentucky.
